I come from the Bay Area and know my sushi, this was the best ever. I truly love the lemon role and my mate got the chicken bento box. We sat near the fish tank which was the best salt water I have seen yet. It was beautiful and the owner was there adding coral. Mike was the nicest man and we enjoyed chatting and the whole experience was amazing. Great service, great wait staff and amazing food. Truly a hidden gem in a small town!
We pop in for sushi whenever we're in town! It's always fresh and service is always fast for lunch hour despite the influx of hungry patrons! My go-to is the rainbow roll & Puff Daddy with a side of Miso soup. The Bay Scallop roll is baked and really decadent!! Yum!! Hint: if you sit at the sushi bar, you get edamame for free while you wait!!
I been coming here since I was a kid the staff makes you feel like family the food is so fresh and makes me feel so good every time I eat here this place is amazing I recommend everyone to try it the staff is so sweet and kind truly a great experience.
1st time here we tried the vegetarian bento box and it was yummy we got the ok tofu and agetashi tofu and the green roll was very delicious the service was lovely definitely will be coming back to tried the rest of there yummy place is quite busy but the service was still very attentive if u like raw fish or sushi this spot is a must try is in the plaza of staple but is before the staple parking lots is across from Safeway market
Recently moved to PG from Sac area & was in search of a new sushi spot. My hubby found this & we saw the good reviews & decided to give it a shot. We were NOT disappointed! The restaurant is small, but you don't feel overly crowded. It was busy (Fri evening), but we got seated right away at the bar. It was such an experience eating sushi in front of the fish tank! The food was DELICIOUS & fresh! We got complimentary edamame to start, which was your average dish. We got miso soup, & it was very flavorful. I can't remember the names of the rolls we got, but they were all spicy (our fave kind!) & 1 was recommended by our waitress (who was amazing). This will be our new go-to sushi spot!
This place is amazing! I have been coming here for years from me picking it up for lunch in high school to being my first stop every time I come back home to visit. Everyone there is so great, the service is amazing and the food is delicious and they are consistent. They just updated the inside and there is a wall of fish tanks full of cool tropical fish that we love to look at when we come in. It is our favorite place in Amador County!
The dinner was very good . Our first time here and we shall return . Two negatives I must say, very cold inside the restaurant and the bento box sauce/soup wasn't good. Couldn't figure what it was for.
I always love coming here because the staff is amazing! Punctual and super friendly! I can't eat seafood so they always make me a roll with chicken on it. The food is always on point! Ambiance has been a great vibe for me!
